So what comes to mind when you think of sweet potatoes? Sugary, marshmallowy, high calorie holiday side dish? Well think again! Believe it or not, sweet potatoes are one of the most nutritious foods around. They are a great source of dietary fiber, complex carbohydrates, protein, vitamins A and C, iron and calcium. This is definitely one of my favorite side dishes to make. The spicy and sweet combination makes a great addition to any meal.

There is no such thing as a bad sweet potato. These look great!
If I had to choose one food to subsist on for the rest of my life, there’s a high likelihood I’d choose sweet potatoes – in all forms. These spicy & sweet roasted ‘taters look divine!
Yum! This sounds so good. I love sweet potatoes, but I usually just roast them until soft and eat them sprinkled with salt. This sounds like a brilliant change!
I used regular potatoes for this. Loved it!!
Oh that sounds good too! I have never tried it like that…I will have to soon! I am so glad that you enjoyed it…it is one of my favorite side dishes to make!
