Monster Cookies Mix + Desserts In Jars Giveaway
There’s no denying that I love decadent desserts. I love making them, eating them and sharing them with friends and family. All of this love for making desserts was recently noticed by Emily from The Harvard Common Press. She contacted me a few weeks ago about hosting a stop on Shaina Olmanson’s blog tour for her book, Desserts in Jars. I have actually had my eye on purchasing this cookbook since it was released back in June, so I was super excited to host a stop on the tour! This book is packed with over 50 irresistible dessert ideas, all presented in individual jars. From cupcakes, pies, puddings, fruit desserts and mixes for giving, this book has everything you need to create show-stopping desserts in jars. Some of the desserts are baked directly in the jars while others are while others are spooned into jars. The book is filled with tips and tricks on how to create successful desserts in jars. Shaina tells us how to how to pick the right jar for the dessert and she even offers some printable gift tags for some of the desserts in the book available to download for free on her website!
It was so hard to choose exactly which recipe I wanted to share with you today. From Pumpkin Cheesecakes to Peach Granita Bellinis, each recipe had my mouthwatering! Since the holiday gift-giving season is upon us, I decided on the Monster Cookie Mix. Homemade gifts in a jars are such a great holiday gift to share with friends, neighbors, teachers and family. They’re perfect on their own or added into a gift basket along with a new cookie sheet, spatula or even some homemade vanilla extract.
