Hi, this is Erik Hiss. Andrew and I grew up on Fallis Rd together and he just told me to be friends with your sweetpea facebook page. I then found this blog and I have to tell you it’s great! It’s literally what my wife has been looking for as she just mentioned her desires to blog last week. I’m going to show her yours to inspire her! Plus she loves to cook and we’ve been wanting a good recipe for hummas so THANK YOU!

Tell Andrew I said hello and I hope you guys are doing well. Take care!

I do a column called “Virtual Cookbook” for a newspaper in Naples, FL called the Naples Daily News, and I found the recipe you got from Gourmet for cheddar buttermilk biscuits on FoodGawker.com I’d love to feature the recipe in my column. Would that be OK with you? We’d give you and Gourmet credit, of course, and link our Web site to Sweet Pea’s Kitchen.

Also, if you’re willing, we’d like to publish your photo along with the story — of course only with your permission and we’d give you credit.

Here are a couple of examples of my column, so you get a feel for it. My column appears in print and online.

Please let me know if you’d be willing to participate. Thanks!

      Katy Bishop,
Thank you so much for your interest in featuring the cheddar buttermilk biscuits on my food blog. Of course you can feature the recipe, photo, and a link to my website online and in the Naples Daily News. I am very flattered that you are interested in using my photos and recipe.

    Hi Christina,
Do you happen to have an RSS feed for your blog? I prefer to read my blogs in google reader instead of via email.
    Best,
    Felicity

    • Christina says:

      Hi Felicity,

At the top of the page on the right side is a link that says “Subscribe to RSS Feed” click on it and it will take you to the feed and the directions on how to add it to your google reader. If you would rather add it from google reader, after logging into google reader, click on the “add new subscription” button in the upper left hand corner. Type in http://www.sweetpeaskitchen.com and click on add. :)

      Hope this helps,
      Christina

    Hello Christina!
I’m a former, (laid off), teacher who moved to Indy not quite two years ago. One of the many reasons I love Indy is the wide ranging culinary opportunities that abound here. I recently discovered your website and I’ve been enjoying the entries ever since. Keep up the good work as it comforting to know that a local community exists with an appreciation for the love of cooking!
    Best wishes,
    Mark

    • Christina says:

  15. I came across your blog when I googled “red velvet cupcakes” and I’m so glad I found it. It is so beautiful and I just love the photography. I came across so many recipes that I want to try, like the glazed doughnut muffins, the coffee cake muffins, and the lemon sugar cookies. I don’t even want to make red velvet cupcakes anymore!
