What type of biscuit should I use?

You’ll need to use refrigerated biscuit dough. It works great and turned out perfectly every time. You could also use your favorite homemade biscuit recipe if you’d rather.

What type of chicken is best for this recipe?

Shredded chicken works perfectly. You can boil the chicken and shred it or use rotisserie chicken. Both options work well.

Additionally, you can use canned chicken if you don’t have fresh chicken on hand. It will have slightly different results.

Can I use frozen, pre-cooked chicken?

Yes! It is acceptable to use pre-cooked or frozen cooked chicken. Rotisserie chicken works well and tastes great too!
