Pour the melted chocolate in with the canola oil. This will strengthen the chocolate, so it sticks on the strawberries properly. Next, dip the strawberries ¾ of the way at an angle into the melted chocolate mix. Be sure the tip is covered. It's important to leave an uncovered patch to form the bird's belly.

Step 3:

Place the chocolate dipped bird onto a piece of parchment paper. Before the chocolate sets up place the eyes on so it sticks to the chocolate. Add the candy heart tips, to look like the bird's beak. Place the beak right under the eyes. Let the chocolate harden and serve!
