Ingredients
2 ½Cflour
1tbspbaking soda
½tspkosher salt
½Cunsalted sweet cream butter, softened
2Clight brown sugar, packed
2large eggs
1 ½tsppure vanilla extract
2Csemi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper
Using a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt until combined. Set this aside for later.
Using a standing mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, this takes around 3-4 minutes.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla until combined, don’t overmix.
Gradually beat in dry ingredients on medium speed until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Using a small ice cream scooper, scoop out some cookie dough and place them onto the cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. The cookies will spread as they bake a bit.
Bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Allow to cool on a cooling rack once you remove from the oven.
