This stuffing will be baked in the oven, and like every good Thanksgiving stuffing recipe, offers plenty of wiggle room to make it your own with your own holiday traditions and flavors.
Ingredients
1Bag Pepperidge Farm herbed stuffing mix in the blue bag
14oz.Cubed bread
2Sticks of butter
1Large onion chopped
3Stalks celery chopped
1Bell pepper chopped
2Large Eggs beaten
2tsp.Poultry seasoning
1 ½tsp.Garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2Tbsp.Fresh chopped parsley
2C.Chicken broth
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Add the bread cubes and the Pepperidge Farms stuffing mix to a large mixing bowl, and toss to combine.
Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat on the stove.
Add the vegetables to the skillet, and cook until softened.
Pour the vegetable mixture over the bread mixture in the mixing bowl, and toss to coat well.
Mix the eggs, seasonings and parsley into the stuffing mixture in the bowl.
Pour the broth over the mixture, and toss to combine and moisten completely.
Layer the stuffing mixture in a 9x13 baking dish, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
