This old fashioned goulash recipe is a definite family favorite! It's hearty, savory, and so filling.
Ingredients
1lb.Ground beef
1C.Uncooked elbow macaroni
1Onion chopped
28oz.Diced tomatoes undrained
⅔C.Frozen corn
8oz.Tomato sauce
4oz.Can diced green chilis
½tsp.Cumin
¼tsp.Salt
½tsp.Black pepper
¼C.Chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
Boil the macaroni until it is done to your liking, rinse in cold water, and drain.
Add the ground beef and onion to a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove, and cook until the meat is browned and onions have softened. Drain any excess grease.
Reduce the heat to medium and add in the diced tomatoes, frozen corn, tomato sauce, green chilis, salt and pepper, and cumin. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in the macaroni and cilantro, and stir to combine before serving.
