Chrissy Teigen's famous banana bread recipe! This popular moist banana bread is made in a bundt cake pan and it’s super simple to make. Full of fresh bananas, coconut, and dark chocolate this will be your new favorite banana bread recipe.
Ingredients
2cupsmashed bananas, 6 very ripe bananas
2/3cupscanola oil
4eggs
2cupsall-purpose flour, and extra to dust pan with
2cupswhite sugar
1box vanilla instant-pudding mix
1teaspoonbaking soda
1 1/2teaspoonskosher salt
1cupunsweetened shredded coconut
13.5 oz bar dark chocolate, chopped into chunks
Salted butter, for serving
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325°F.
Add the mashed banana, eggs, and oil to a large bowl and combine well. In a separate bowl add the flour, sugar, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt. Combine well.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and combine until just mixed. Once mixed gently fold in the chocolate and coconut. Avoid overmixing, and do not use an electric mixer.
Use butter to generously grease a large bundt pan and dust with flour until it’s fully coated.
Pour the batter into the bundt pan, it should fill about 3/4 of the pan.
Bake at 325°F for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread pulls out clean. Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before using a spatula to gently release the bread from the sides of the pan. Flip the pan onto a plate to remove the bread.
Let the cake cool before cutting into slices and serving with butter.
