Italian green beans is a super simple and easy side dish recipe. Sauteed in butter and parmesan cheese, this healthy recipe pairs perfectly with chicken, pork, beef, or fish and is on the table in just 15 minutes!
Ingredients
2tablespoonsbutter
1/2teaspoonminced garlic
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1/2cupbread crumbs
1/2cupParmesan cheese
16ouncesfresh or frozen green beans
Salt to taste
Instructions
Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, bread crumbs, and parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes until the bread crumbs are golden brown.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil on the stove and add the cleaned and trimmed green beans. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the green beans are fork tender but still al dente. Drain over a colander and add to the skillet, toss to coat in the breadcrumbs.
