There's nothing quite like the smell of sugar cookies baking in the oven especially when they're combined with fresh peaches for a delicious cobbler. This is a Cookie Crusted Peach Cobbler recipe that my grandma used to make, and it's always been one of my favorites.
Ingredients
8Peaches peeled and sliced
½C.Butter sliced into pieces
½C.Brown sugar
2C.All purpose flour
2C.Granulated sugar
2tsp.Baking powder
1tsp.Salt
2Large eggs
1C.Oil
1tsp.Cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Layer the sliced peaches in the bottom of a well greased 9x13 baking dish.
Scatter the butter pieces over the peaches and sprinkle the brown sugar over that.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the remaining ingredients until a cookie dough has formed.
Spread the dough mixture over the top of the peaches and bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
