This cake is loaded with flavor, it is sticky, sweet and rich in flavor just like what you are accustomed to. When you top it with the Honey Glaze you are boosting that level of goodness.
Ingredients
1Yellow cake mix
½C.Milk divided
4Large eggs
⅔C.Oil
8oz.Sour cream
1C.Brown Sugar
1Tbsp.Cinnamon
2C.Powdered sugar
1Tbsp.Vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the cake mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, and ¼ cup of milk until smooth.
Layer half of the cake batter in the bottom of a well-greased 9x13 baking dish.
Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the cake batter in the casserole dish.
Pour the remaining cake batter into the casserole dish, and swirl to combine the mixture.
Bake for 35 minutes or until the cake is cooked through.
Let cool for 15 minutes.
Mix together the powdered sugar, ¼ cup milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour the glaze over the cake and spread it evenly.
