Ingredients
12oz.Fresh Broccoli Florets
12oz.Ronzoni Bright Taste Elbow Noodles
¼cupFinely Onion, Chopped
1 ½Tbsp.Butter
1cupFat-Free Chicken Broth
¼cupAll-Purpose Flour
2cupsMilk
8Oz.Reduced-Fat Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
½tsp.Paprika
Salt And Pepper To Taste
¼cupBread Crumbs
2tbsp.Parmesan Cheese, Grated
Instructions
Heat the oven to 375, and grease a 9x13 baking dish well.
In a pot, boil the noodles and broccoli together until both are cooked through.
While the noodles and broccoli are cooking, saute the onions in the butter over medium heat until softened.
Stir in the flour with the onions, and saute for 1-2 minutes before slowly mixing in the chicken broth.
Stir in the milk, salt, and pepper to taste and paprika. Boil the mixture lightly for 5 minutes or until thickened.
Mix the cheese sauce and noodle mixture well. Pour the mixture into the baking dish, and top with the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
