This Orange Sherbert recipe is so easy and only requires two ingredients! Plus, it's a refreshing and delicious treat on a hot summer day. Orange sherbet is one of my all-time favorite ice cream flavors, and this homemade version is even better than a store-bought.
Ingredients
14ozSweetened condensed milk
1literOrange soda
Instructions
Mix together the orange soda and the sweetened condensed milk in a bowl.
If using an ice cream maker, place the ingredients into the maker, and start churning. Churn for an hour, layer the mixture into a loaf pan or bowl, and freeze for 6-8 hours until completely frozen.
If you do not have an ice cream machine, place the mixture directly into a loaf pan or bowl, and freeze for 1 hour.
Remove the container and stir the mixture after 1 hour, then return to the freezer.
Continue to remove the container and mix the ingredients every 2 hours until the sherbert is completely frozen. This will take 6-8 hours total.
