Ingredients
1lb.Lean ground beef
2c.Water
1tspItalian seasoning
½tspGarlic powder
½tspSalt
¼tspBlack pepper
8oz.Uncooked spaghetti noodles
25oz.Marinara sauce of your choosing
Parmesan cheese for garnish if desired
Instructions
Set the Instant Pot to saute, and saute the ground beef until completely browned, and then drain thoroughly.
Add in the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper and water, stirring to combine.
Break the spaghetti noodles in half, and layer them a little at a time on top of the meat mixture in the Instant Pot, layering the noodles in slightly different directions each time. This will help to keep the noodles from sticking together.
Pour marinara sauce on top of the noodles and meat, but do not stir.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, and make sure that the release valve is pointing to the sealing position.
Set the Instant Pot to manual for 7 minutes if using white spaghetti, and for 5 minutes if using whole wheat pasta.
Once the spaghetti is done cooking, do a quick release right away by pushing the release valve over to the venting position. When the pressure is released, open the lid and stir the spaghetti well to combine everything together nicely.
Top with parmesan cheese for garnish if desired, and serve.
