This Crockpot Pepper Steak is a delicious and easy way to get a delicious dinner on the table. With simple ingredients like sirloin steak, peppers, onion, garlic, and seasonings, it cooks up in the slow cooker for a few hours until the steak is tender and flavorful.
Ingredients
2lbs.Sirloin steak cut into strips
2tsp.Minced garlic
2Tbsp.Olive oil
⅔C.Hot water
1Beef bouillon cube
1Tbsp.Cornstarch
1C.Chopped onion
3Tbsp.Soy sauce
1tsp.Brown sugar
1Can Diced tomatoes
2tsp.Worcestershire sauce
Pepper to taste
2Bell peppers sliced
Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat on the stove.
Add the steak to the skillet, and saute until browned on the outside.
Place the bullion in the hot water and stir until dissolved.
Whisk the cornstarch into the water and bouillon mixture, and pour it into the crockpot.
Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce and brown sugar to the crockpot.
Pour the diced tomatoes and pepper to taste into the crockpot.
Mix the onions and browned beef into the crockpot, and stir to combine all of the ingredients well. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6-7.
Add the sliced bell peppers and cook for an hour longer on either high or low before serving.
