Ingredients
1 ½lb.Ground beef
1PacketTaco seasoning
½Onion , Medium, chopped
2tsp.Minced garlic
1Can Red kidney beans , Drained
1BottleFrench dressing
1BagShredded lettuce
2Roma tomatoes , Small, chopped
⅓C.Green onions, Chopped
1 ½C.Shredded cheddar cheese
1BagTortilla chips crushed
Sour cream and salsa for garnish
Instructions
Cook the ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium high heat on the stove until the meat is completely browned and the onions are starting to become tender.
Add the taco seasoning and minced garlic to the skillet, and stir to combine.
Pour the kidney beans and French dressing into the skillet, stir to combine, and lower the heat to low. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, and then remove from the heat to cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the lettuce, tomato and green onions.
Add the crushed tortilla chips and top with the meat mixture. Toss to combine well.
Stir in the cheese and then garnish with sour cream and salsa before serving.
