Taco Salad

 A satisfying meal!

Ingredients:

1 ½ lb. Ground beef

1 Packet of taco seasoning

½ Medium onion chopped

2 tsp. Minced garlic

1 Can red kidney beans drained

1 Bottle French dressing

1 Bag shredded lettuce

2 Small roma tomatoes chopped

⅓ C. Chopped green onions

1 ½ C. Shredded cheddar cheese

1 Bag Tortilla chips crushed

Sour cream and salsa for garnish

How to make Taco Salad:

Step 1. Cook the ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove until the meat is completely browned and the onions are starting to become tender.

Step 2. Add the taco seasoning and minced garlic to the skillet, and stir to combine.

Step 3. Pour the kidney beans and French dressing into the skillet, stir to combine, and lower the heat to low. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, and then remove from the heat to cool slightly.

Step 4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lettuce, tomato, and green onions.

Step 5. Add the crushed tortilla chips and top with the meat mixture. Toss to combine well.

Step 6. Stir in the cheese and then garnish with sour cream and salsa before serving.
