There has always been something special about the recipes from the Amish. They make some fabulous foods. I have always been in awe of the recipes. They taste fresh, savory and not loaded down with unnecessary ingredients. Just clean food combined with ingredients that make it a special dish.
Ingredients
8piecesof skin-on chicken
1C.All-purpose flour
2tsp.Garlic powder
1tsp.Onion power
2tsp.Paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 ½C.Heavy whipping cream
1 ½C.Water
Instructions
In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt and pepper to taste.
Dredge the chicken well in the flour mixture, and place skin side up into a well-greased baking dish.
Whisk together the water and heavy whipping cream, and pour it over and around the chicken in the dish.
Bake for 1 ½ hour or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is browned.
