Ingredients
16oz.Blackberries
1C.Water
1C.+ ¼ C. Granulated sugar divided
1 ½C.Bisquik
1C.Milk
1tsp.Vanilla extract
8Tbsp.Butter unsalted and melted
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together the water, berries and ¼ cup of sugar in a saucepan on the stovetop over medium heat. Cook until the berries begin to soften and the sugar has dissolved.
In a mixing bowl, combine the Bisquik, 1 cup of sugar, milk and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine well.
Pour the butter into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
Add the berry mixture to the baking dish.
Drizzle the batter over the baking dish, and bake for 30-40 minutes until cooked through and browned.
