This Crockpot Bowtie Casserole recipe is the perfect comfort food for a cold winter night. It's easy to make, and it's packed with flavor.
Ingredients

Ground beef

Minced garlic

Onion chopped
1
tsp.
Oregano
1
tsp.
Italian seasoning

oz.
Can stewed tomatoes
15
oz.
Can Tomato sauce
10
oz.
Fresh or frozen spinach

oz.
Bowtie pasta
½
C.
Parmesan cheese
1 ½
C.
Mozzarella cheese shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Place the ground beef and onion in a skillet. Saute until the beef is browned and the onions have softened. Drain any remaining fat.
Add the garlic to the skillet and saute 30 seconds longer.
Place the meat mixture into the bottom of a crockpot.
Cover the meat mixture with the stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, oregano and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine well.
Cook the mixture in the crock pot over low heat for 6 hours.
The last 30 minutes of cook time, stir in the bowtie pasta, spinach, parmesan cheese and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
Open the crockpot lid, top with the remaining ½ cup of mozzarella shredded cheese and serve once it has melted.
