Ingredients
For the berries:
6C.Blackberries fresh
2Tbsp.Cornstarch
¼C.Melted butter
½C.Granulated sugar
For the topping:
2 ½C.All purpose flour
½C.Granulated sugar
1Tbsp.Baking powder
1tsp.Salt
2C.Milk
1Tbsp.Vanilla extract
¼C.Melted butter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Add the berries, cornstarch and ½ cup sugar to a mixing bowl and toss to coat. Drizzle the ¼ cup of melted butter over the berries and stir to combine.
Layer the berries in the bottom of a well greased 9x13 baking dish.
Mix together the ingredients for the topping until smooth and well combined.
Spread the topping over the berries and bake for 1 hour, or until the topping is browned and cooked through.
