This dish is a one skillet meal. It tastes great, is budget friendly and no one leaves the table hungry!
Ingredients
1lb.Ground beef
1Onion chopped
1Green bell pepper chopped
2tsp.Minced garlic
1Tbsp.Worcestershire sauce
1Tbspeven mix of garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper together
10oz.Diced tomatoes with green chilis
3C.Cabbage chopped
10oz.Beef broth
1C.Shredded cheddar cheese
Salt to taste
Instructions
Add the ground beef, onions and green peppers to a skillet over medium high heat. Cook until the meat is completely browned and the vegetables are tender.
Mix in the minced garlic and saute until 30 seconds. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the worcestershire sauce and seasoning mix as well as salt to taste.
Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine.
Add the cabbage to the skillet, cover with a lid, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 20 minutes.
Remove the lid, stir in the shredded cheese and serve.
