I have another type of Sausage skillet recipe that I have to share with you all. This is another simple meal to prepare and has everything in one skillet. Again you can make this a versatile dish by changing different aspects of it, whether that is the sausage, potatoes or the choice of spices. This is one of those recipes I turn to when I have not made it to the store to do my weekly shopping.
Ingredients
½lbPolish Kielbasa – Sliced into rounds.
1Medium Onion
¼Cabbage - Shredded
1-2Garlic Cloves - Minced
6CVegetable Stock
2-3Potatoes – Peeled and chopped into cubes.
1tspSalt
½tspPepper
2tbspwater
Instructions
Bring water to a boil with a bit of salt and cook potatoes until tender.
Heat a large skillet on medium high heat and add oil.
Cook onions until tender then add the kielbasa and garlic. Cook for a few minutes until brown.
Put in the potatoes and cook for another few minutes and then add the cabbage, salt, and pepper and toss.
Add the 2 tbsp of water then cover and let simmer for 2 minutes.
