This Chicken Alfredo Lasagna recipe is the ultimate comfort food. Layers of pasta, chicken, and cheese, all smothered in a creamy Alfredo sauce. What's not to love? The best part is that it's easy to make, and even easier to eat. Just be sure to have a plateful of garlic bread on hand to soak up all that delicious sauce.
Ingredients
15lasagna noodles, Oven ready
3cShredded chicken
1 ½tsp Salt
1Onion, chopped
1tspBlack pepper
2tspMinced garlic
1 ½cParmesan cheese, grated
10ozSpinach, Fresh
15ozRicotta cheese
2tbspButter
4cHeavy whipping cream
3cShredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and prepare a 9x13 baking dish.
Toss in the spinach, and saute until wilted.
Add the butter to a deep-sided skillet over medium heat, and saute the onions until softened.
Mix the garlic into the skillet, and saute for 30 seconds.
Pour the heavy whipping cream into the skillet, and bring to a low boil.
Stir in the ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, chicken, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the sauce has thickened.
Layer some sauce in the bottom of the baking dish.
Add a layer of lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
Place more sauce on the noodles, and sprinkle with some of the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat layers of noodles, sauce, and cheese until the ingredients are used up. Be sure to end with the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Cover the dish with tin foil, and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Remove the foil, and place the dish under the broiler for a few minutes if desired.
