If there was an award for the best salad, Grandma’s tuna macaroni salad would be a shoo-in. This recipe is easy to make and always hits the spot. Plus, it’s perfect for a quick and healthy meal.
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. Sweet pickle relish
3 C. Elbow macaroni , uncooked
½ Red onion , chopped
3 C. Green peas, Frozen, thawed
3-4 StalksCelery, chopped
1 canTuna , large can, drained
1 C. Mayonnaise
5 oz. Shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the macaroni in boiling water until done to your liking. Rinse under cold water and drain well.
Mix together all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
