This Hamburger Gravy can be made with the simplest of ingredients that are most probably already present in your kitchen. But the final dish will leave you licking your fingers. Let's make Hamburger Gravy together!
Ingredients
2lbs.Ground beef
¼C.Flour
3C.Milk
1tsp.Onion salt
½tsp.Garlic powder
1C.Onion , chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Place the ground beef and onion into a large skillet over medium high heat on the stove. Cook until the meat is completely browned and the onion has softened. Drain any excess fat.
Reduce the heat to medium, and stir in salt and pepper to taste, the onion salt and the garlic powder.
Sprinkle the flour over the ground beef, and stir to combine well, sauteing for another 30 seconds.
Pour the milk into the skillet, and stir to combine. Simmer over medium heat until the sauce has thickened into a gravy consistency.
Top with freshly chopped parsley if desired, and serve over mashed potatoes, biscuits, etc.
