These are the best ever shrimp tacos because the cook is simple and the prep brings in all of the flavors and fats you expect in a good and messy taco. Bring a little bit of taco seasoning to create this authentic taco dish and mix it well with all of your favorite taco fats. The feta in here will surprise you, and you’ll want it again and again.
Ingredients
1lb.Shrimp peeled and deveined
8Medium flour tortillas
1Tbsp.Butter
1Tbsp.Oil
1Tbsp.Taco seasoning
1 ½C.Coleslaw mix
⅓C.Mayonnaise
3Tbsp.Sour cream
1tsp.Minced garlic
¼C.Chopped fresh cilantro
2Tbsp.Lime juice
Feta cheese crumbles
Chopped tomatoes
Chopped avocado
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, cilantro and lime juice. Stir to combine well.
In another bowl, place some of the dressing on the coleslaw mix, and stir to combine well.
Heat the oil and butter in a skillet over medium high heat.
Add the shrimp to the skillet with the taco seasoning, and saute until cooked through.
Place a layer of the coleslaw mixture in the bottom of the tortillas, top with shrimp and garnish with the tomatoes, feta cheese and avocado. Drizzle with the remaining sauce mixture and serve.
