Cook the steak or chicken in taco seasoning and set aside.
At the centre of each wrapper, place 2 tablespoons of meat. Season with salt and pepper, then top with a sprinkle of grated cheese and diced onion. Fold in sides and wrap tightly.
If deep frying, in pan, preheat oil to 350°F. Fry egg rolls for about 4-5 minutes or until turning golden brown. Remove to paper-towel lined plate.
If baking, Preheat oven to 425˚F. Grease a baking sheet lightly. Bake rolls for 10-15 minutes or until browned, turning half way through cooking time.
