This is the best bread pudding you will ever eat, I know it is the best that I have ever had. This is an old Fashioned Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce that has won the hearts of millions of people. I recall wondering how people could love pudding that was made by using bread. I know I was wrong, but sadly mistaken.

This is amazing! It is a simple dish, made with bread that has gotten stale. What better way of not wasting money?

Bread Pudding, a classic dish, was likely made when money was hard to get, which meant that desserts were made by using items that were available.

What makes this special?

This recipe does call for using a loaf of french bread, however, if you have bread that is going stale at your place, cut it up and use it.  The raisins add extra sweetness to the pudding. Topped with a simple syrup brings it all together and makes it amazing!
