The essential ingredients for a walking taco casserole are ground beef, chopped onions, green chillis, shredded taco blend cheese, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and of course, Fritos corn chips. You can also add cream cheese and taco seasoning for additional taste. However, you can omit or add ingredients according to your preference.

How to make Walking Taco Casserole
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. Place the ground beef and onion in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat on the stove. Saute until the meat is browned and the onions have softened.

Step 3. Add the taco seasoning, green chilis and cream cheese to the skillet.

Step 4. saute until the cream cheese is completely melted and combined.

Step 4. Top the mixture with the corn chips.

Step 5. Then add the shredded cheese.

Step 5. Bake for 20 minutes.
Step 6. Remove the skillet from the oven and top with shredded lettuce and tomato.

Step 7. Garnish with salsa and sour cream if desired. Enjoy!

- 1 ½ lbs. Ground beef
- 1 C. Onion , chopped
- 3 oz. Cream cheese
- 1 Packet Taco seasoning
- 1 Can Green chilis
- 2-3 C. Fritos corn chips
- 1 C. Shredded taco blend cheese
- 1 Roma tomato , chopped
- 1-2 C. Lettuce, shredded
- Salsa and sour cream for garnish

Instructions
