Why do I love Cinna-bun Cake in the Oven?
- The cinnamon-sugar marriage gives the cake a sweet and spicy flavor.
- The soft, fluffy layers make it the perfect snack cake.
- It’s incredibly easy to make in the oven. Only seventy minutes! Wow.
- It’s easy to make variations
- It’s great for a quick sweet-tooth solution when I don’t have time for a fancy dessert.
How long do cinnabons go in the oven?
Cinnabons get done in about 20-30 minutes. But we are doing a cinna bun cake in the oven, so let’s give it at least 40 minutes.
Can you use heavy cream instead of milk?
Oh yes, you can! It’ll be even fluffier. Do dilute it, though. Heavy cream has a lot of fat content. It can make the cake too heavy and dense. So, mix half cream and half water or milk.
How to serve Cinna-bun Cake in the Oven?
This cake is great warm or cold. Top it with a scoop of your favorite frozen cream or a big fat dollop of freshly whipped cream. Sprinkle some powdered sugar, drop a few chopped nuts, and YUM!
