Pecan Praline Cake is one truly delicious dessert. The Cake is super moist and you get a delicious praline and pecan flavor with the Cake and frosting. This is the perfect cake for any time and it is my go-to cake for Church events, picnics, or parties and gatherings.
This cake is the perfect one for those of us who love pecans, pralines, cake, and easy!

This cake is super easy and the flavor is intense! Very seldom do we come across a recipe that is the perfect combination of ingredients in the perfect amount and actually has the recipe turn out perfect for us!

How is this recipe better than so many others?
This recipe is truly super easy to make, it tastes phenomenal and it disappears quickly. There are not many ingredients and this recipe uses a shortcut of sorts to help make it easier.
Variations
There are a few variations that could be used. You could use a different flavor cake mix, such as Butter Pecan. You could use a Coconut Pecan Frosting in combination with the Pecan Praline.
Ingredients:
- Butter recipe yellow cake mix
- Coconut pecan frosting
- Eggs
- Oil
- Water
- Chopped pecans
- Water
For the glaze:
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Butter unsalted
- Pecan halves
How to make Pecan Praline Cake:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the cake and blend until smooth.
Adding the butter recipe yellow cake mix and coconut pecan frosting.
Adding the water.
Adding the oil.
Adding the eggs.
Adding the finely chopped pecans.
Step 3. Pour the cake batter into a well-greased 9×13 baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Step 4. While the cake is cooking, combine the condensed milk and butter over medium heat in a small pot or saucepan on the stove.
Step 5. Heat the mixture until the butter is melted.
Step 6. Stir in the pecan halves.
Step 7. Remove the cake from the oven and pour the glaze mixture over the cake.
Step 8. Let the cake cool to room temperature before serving.
Slice and ready to enjoy!

- 1 Box Butter recipe yellow cake mix
- 1 Tub Coconut pecan frosting
- 4 Eggs, Large
- ⅔ C. Oil
- 1 C. Water
- ½ C. pecans, Finely chopped
For the glaze:
- 1 Can Sweetened condensed milk
- 2 Tbsp. Butter unsalted
- 1 C. Pecan halves

Instructions

How should the Pecan Praline Cake be stored?
If you wrap the cake tightly it can sit on the counter at room temperature for 24 hours. If you want the cake to stay super fresh for a longer period of time, wrap it tightly and store it in the refrigerator for 3 days.
Can I freeze the Pecan Praline Cake?
You can definitely freeze the cake. It is best if you do not pour the topping or glaze on the cake before placing it in the freezer. By leaving the topping off, you can freeze the cake for 3 months.
Can I use a different topping for the Pecan Praline Cake?
You could use a Coconut Pecan frosting, or use the recommended glaze type of topping.
