A great dessert for any time of the year!
This is a great recipe! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Ingredients for Butterscotch Lush:
For the crust:
1 ½ C. Graham crackers crushed
1 Stick of butter melted
½ C. Granulated sugar
For the cream cheese layer:
8 oz. Cream cheese softened
2 C. Heavy whipping cream
¼ C. Granulated sugar
For the pudding layer:
2 Boxes of instant butterscotch pudding mix
2 ½ C. Milk
For the whipped cream layer:
1 C. Heavy whipping cream
3 Tbsp. Powdered sugar
For the topping:
Butterscotch ice cream topping
Shaved chocolate
How to make Butterscotch Lush:
Step1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×9 baking dish well.
Step2: Add the ingredients for the crust in a mixing bowl, and stir to combine well.
Step3: Press the crust mixture into the bottom of the greased baking dish, and bake for 15 minutes.
Step4: Remove the crust and let cool.
Step5: While the crust cools, combine the ingredients for the cream cheese layer until smooth and fluffy. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
Step6: Combine the pudding layer ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Step7: Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish.
Step8: Beat together the ingredients for the whipped cream layer until soft peaks form.
Step9: Spread the whipped cream mixture over the pudding layer.
Step10: Chill the mixture for four hours.
Step11: Top with butterscotch ice cream topping and shaved chocolate before serving.
