Why I love chocolate cookie cheesecake
- It’s delicious and addictive
- It can be served on many occasions
- The cake is filling and decadent
Is cheesecake better baked or not baked?
It depends on preference. I prefer baked cheesecake as it has a firm, dense, fluffy, and moist texture, which you can’t get with the no-bake version.
How to serve chocolate cookie cheesecake?
You can serve this dessert with hot chocolate, coffee, milk, whipped cream, or ice cream.
Cooking tips:
- Using softened cream cheese produces a creamy and smooth cheesecake filling.
- Using cold butter from the fridge prevents the cookies from overspreading
- Avoid over-baking the cake, as it’s meant to be soft and sticky
Variations:
- Use vegan or dairy-free cream cheese if you’re looking for a vegetarian option.
- Replace the four eggs with one cup of applesauce. The applesauce will act as a binder.
- Use mint chocolate chips instead of regular chocolate chips to achieve a minty flavor.
