How Do You Keep Cinnamon From Clumping In French Toast?

Sometimes, cinnamon can get clumpy on the French toast. The primary reason for cinnamon to get clumpy is uneven distribution in the egg batter. If you want to avoid the cinnamon from getting clumpy then mix it with sugar then add it to the batter. Don’t add cinnamon directly to the batter because it can make lumps. You can also mix it with melted butter before adding it to the French toast batter.

What Is The Trick To Not Soggy French Toast?

One thing that I absolutely hate is soggy French toast. I like my French toast to be crispy outside and fluffy inside. To avoid French toast from getting soggy don’t place it in the egg batter for too long. Dip the bread in the egg batter and soak it for a few seconds. To make my Cinnamon French toast more crispy I heat some butter in the pan and cook each side until crisp.

How Do You Keep French Toast From Collapsing?

If you don’t prepare your cinnamon French toast properly they will collapse while cooking. I don’t like to eat broken French toast, that is why I use thick bread slices. Another major mistake that many of us make while cooking cinnamon French toast is to flip too quickly. Wait patiently and let the French toast get crispy brown from one side then flip it. I always use a spatula with a large surface area to avoid collapsing.

How To Serve Cinnamon French Toast Bubble-Up?

I like to serve Cinnamon French toast in many ways. However, I prefer to dust powdered sugar and cinnamon on top of it. My kids like to have their French toast with whipping cream and maple syrup.
