Why do I love Cream Cheese Banana Bread?

Cream Cheese banana bread has a cream cheese filling that is incredibly moist and with a smooth texture that will keep you returning for more.

Why does banana bread taste better on the second day?

The likely explanation for this thing to happen is because you are using unripe bananas. Just use soft, squishy ripe banana to make your bread taste better.

What can I substitute for cream cheese in banana bread filling?

Sour cream is the best option to substitute your cream cheese in banana bread filling. It gives banana bread a brownie-like appearance.

Why is my banana bread not moist?

Banana bread becomes moist with a proper flour and banana balance. The reason your banana bread is not moist is because you are adding too much flour in it.

What makes banana bread rubbery?

Overmixing makes banana bread rubbery. This is because too much stirring, makes more gluten, which results in tough, rubbery banana bread. To fix this, stir until moist and then stop mixing.

How to serve Cream Cheese Banana Bread?

Cream cheese banana bread can be served with a number of add-ons to make it delicious. The choice that I like the best is to add a warm portion of my favorite ice cream syrup, which melts slowly from the freshly baked banana bread.

Tips:

Here are a few tips that might help you make your banana bread a piece of art.

  • Choose the ripest banana you can find while making your banana bread.
  • To control moisture, add a proper banana-to-flour ratio in your bread.
  • Do not overmix the batter as it will make it rubbery.

Ingredients for the Bread:

  • Ripe bananas (Mashed)
  • Salted Butter (Melted)
  • Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • White Sugar
  • Egg (Beaten)
  • Madagascar Vanilla
  • All-purpose Flour

For the Filling:

  • Cream Cheese (Room Temp)
  • Egg
  • White Sugar
  • All-purpose Flour

Directions for the Bread:

Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a loaf pan.

Step 2. Add the mashed bananas to a large mixing bowl.

Step 3. Use an electric mixer, beat in the melted butter.

Step 4. Beat in baking soda and salt. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and madagascar vanilla. Beat to combine.

Step 5. Slowly add the flour, mixing to blend in all of the ingredients.

For the Filling:

Step 1. Add cream cheese, egg, sugar, and flour in a small bowl.

Step 2. With an electric mixer, beat all of the ingredients together. Making the bread:

Step 3. Scoop half of the batter in the bottom of the loaf pan. Even the top of the bread batter.

Step 4. Top the layer of batter with the cream cheese filling. Use a knife to spread the filling evenly over the batter.

Step 5. Top this with the remaining bread batter.

Step 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. If done, remove the bread from the oven.

Step 7. If not, make a tent from foil and cover the loaf pan and continue to bake.

Step 8. Take out of the oven and set aside to cool in the pan for several minutes before removing from the pan.

Step 9. Remove the bread from the pan and place on a cooling rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.
