I’m not sure I would describe these as the brownies I am used to baking.

Banana Bread Brownies

The texture is more like a cake bite with a brownie twist. SO GOOD!!

Banana Bread Brownies

Rich delicious Banana Bread Brownies to create a deeply satisfying summer dessert.

Banana Bread Brownies

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 12

Ingredients:

2 C. All-purpose flour

1 ½ C. Sugar

1 C. Sour cream

4 Ripe Bananas smashed

2 large eggs

½ C. Butter softened

2 tsp. Vanilla extract

3 tsp. Baking powder

½ tsp. Baking soda

½ C. Chopped walnuts

For the frosting:

½ C. Butter softened

4 C. Powdered sugar

2 tsp. Vanilla extract

3 Tbsp. Milk

Instructions:

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2. Add the ingredients for the brownies into a mixing bowl, and beat on high until smooth.

g. adding Baking powder

h. adding Baking soda

i. adding Vanilla extract

Step 3. Spread the batter into a well-greased 9×13 baking dish.

Step 4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.

Step 5. In a mixing bowl, beat together the ingredients for the frosting.

Step 6. Spread the frosting over the warm cake.

Step 7. Serve immediately, or cool to room temperature before serving if preferred.
