Ingredients:
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla
1 C. Brown sugar
2 C. Granulated sugar
1 C. Evaporated milk
1 C. Light corn syrup
1 Pint Heavy whipping cream
1 C. Butter
Instructions:
Step 1: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2: Mix in the brown sugar.
A. Add in the granulated sugar.
Step 3: Stir in the evaporated milk
A. Add in the corn syrup.
B. Pour in the heavy whipping cream.
Step 4: Bring the mixture to a low boil until it reaches a temperature of 250 degrees.
Step 5: Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
Step 6: Pour the mixture into a well-greased baking dish.
Step 7: Let cool to room temperature, and then chill until hardened.
Step 8: Slice into caramels and serve.
