Easy Breakfast Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast Cooking Tips:
If you plan to serve this dish for breakfast, wash and slice the strawberries the night before so that they are ready to use. When you are ready to cook, remove the cream cheese from its foil container and soften it in the microwave at 20-second intervals until it’s soft enough to blend with the fruits and other ingredients.
Variations of Easy Breakfast Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast:
You can substitute the strawberries with blueberries, peaches, or apples to achieve a variety of flavors that you can enjoy whenever you get the craving for something sweet and nutritious.
Ingredients for Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast:
- 4-6 Slices of Texas Toast or bread (slightly stale or lightly toasted)
- 3 Eggs
- 3 T Cold Milk
- 1 T Honey
- 1 T Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon & Nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 T Butter
Filling:
- 1 pkg Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- ½ C Sugar
- 2 C Fresh Chopped Strawberries
How To Make Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast:
Step 1: Let’s make the filling by blending all the ingredients together in a blender or hand mixer until creamy and smooth consistency
Place in the refrigerator until ready to use
Step 2: Grab a medium-sized nonstick skillet over medium to low heat
If you do not have a nonstick skillet then use Pam cooking spray or melted butter
Step 3: Combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and honey to make the custard mixture
Then
Mix for a minute or two until everything is fully combined
Step 4: Take one piece of your Texas Toast and lay it flat on a cutting board
Step 5: With a rolling pin, flatten each piece of bread to ½ inch thick
Roll to ensure it is evenly flattened
Step 6: Spread 2 tablespoons of cream cheese mixture over half of one side of the bread
Do not spread across the entire piece, just cover one half
Step 7: From the cream cheese half, rollover as shown in the photo below
The cream cheese mixture should seal your piece of toast closed
Step 8: Repeat with remaining pieces of toast, lay the folded side down
Step 9: Now, you will add the butter to the saucepan
Step 10: Dip each piece of your Texas Toast cream cheese mixture into the custard (egg/milk mixture)
Step 11: Immediately fry each piece until golden brown on all sides
Turn carefully as to not break the bread every 1-2 minutes
Step 12: Each piece should be browned in about 4-5 minutes
Do not overcrowd your pan! If you need to cook in a few stages then that is totally fine
Step 13: Your toast is done when the surface is crispy and browned
Step 14: Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar, cinnamon, or your favorite topping

Personal Notes:
You can add Bananas or melons to the filling for a unique twist. Make sure your fruits are cut into small pieces prior to combining.
