A delightful twist on traditional strawberry shortcake using a glazed doughnut. 

Easy to prepare, yet an impressive dessert! Use store-bought doughnuts or your own glazed doughnut recipe.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

4 Glazed donuts

2 C. Heavy whipping cream

1 tsp. Vanilla extract

½ C. Powdered sugar

1 Quart strawberries sliced

How to make Glazed Donut Strawberry Shortcake:

Step 1. Slice the donuts in half horizontally.

 

Step 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Beat on high until soft peaks form.

d. Beat on high until soft peaks form

Step 3. Place one half of a donut on a plate, top with whipped cream, then a layer of strawberries, more whipped cream, and the other half of the donut on top.

Step 4. Repeat step 3 with the remaining donuts.
