Honey Bun Cake

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 12

Ingredients:

1 Yellow cake mix

½ C. Milk divided

4 large eggs

⅔ C. Oil

8 oz. Sour cream

1 C. Brown Sugar

1 Tbsp. Cinnamon

2 C. Powdered sugar

1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract

Instructions:

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cake mix, sour cream, oil, eggs, and ¼ cup of milk until smooth.

Step 3. Layer half of the cake batter in the bottom of a well-greased 9×13 baking dish.

Step 4. Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Step 5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the cake batter in the casserole dish.

Step 6. Pour the remaining cake batter into the casserole dish, and swirl to combine the mixture.

Step 7. Bake for 35 minutes or until the cake is cooked through.

Step 8. Let cool for 15 minutes.

Step 9. Mix together the powdered sugar, ¼ cup milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Step 10. Pour the glaze over the cake and spread it evenly.

Step 11. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
