Be sure to only cook the pasta Al dente, you could use a different pasta such as linguine. You could add a protein source such as chicken or shrimp.

- Farfalle Pasta
- Olive Oil
- Onions
- Garlic
- Mushrooms
- Fresh Spinach
- Vegetable Broth
- Ground Pepper
- Italian Seasoning
- Parmesan Cheese
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Red Chilli Pepper Flakes
How to make One Pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta with Spinach and Mushrooms:
Step 1: In a medium saucepan with boiling water add the farfalle pasta with salt and a dash of olive oil.
Step 2: Cook for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain the hot water and put the pasta in a bowl with cold water and set aside.
Step 3: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and stir for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4: Transfer to a medium bowl once done and set aside.
Step 5: In the same skillet, saute the mushrooms for about 3 minutes until brown.
Step 6: Transfer the mushrooms to the same bowl with the onion.
Step 7: In the same skillet, add the spinach and cook for about 2 minutes until wilted. Add more olive oil if needed.
Step 8: Transfer the spinach to the same bowl with the onion and mushrooms.
Step 9: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in the same skillet and add the garlic. Cook for around 30 seconds.
Step 10: When the garlic is golden brown, pour in the vegetable broth.
Step 11: Then add the whipping cream, the Italian seasoning, and some chili pepper flakes.
Step 12: Then add the Parmesan cheese and mix together with the cream mixture.
Step 13: Stir until well combined for around 3 minutes.
Step 14: After the cream is ready, add the onion, mushrooms, and spinach back to the skillet and toss to coat.
Step 15: Add the cooked pasta to the creamy mixture and carefully toss to coat.
Step 16: To serve, garnish with red pepper flakes and extra Parmesan cheese on top.
