Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 8-10 minutes | Servings: 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
1 ½ C. + 2 Tbsp. Granulated sugar divided
1 C. Butter softened
2 ⅔ C. All-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 tsp. Baking soda
2 tsp. Cream of tartar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
How to make Snickerdoodle Cookies:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, eggs, and 1 ½ cups sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3. Add the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar to the mixing bowl, and beat until a smooth dough forms.

Step 4. Wet your hands slightly, and form the dough into small balls.
Step 5. In a shallow bowl, combine the 2 tbsp sugar and the cinnamon. Roll the balls of dough around in the cinnamon sugar to coat them well.
Step 6. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Step 7. Let cool and serve.
