Roasted Banana & Pear Puree {Little Green Pouch Giveaway}

Roasted Banana and Pear Puree {Sweet Pea's Kitchen}

It seems like Little Sweet Pea and I are always on the go. From running errands around town, going to swimming lessons and playing at the local park, I always end up packing a lot of food in the diaper bag. I like to make my own foods for Little Sweet Pea, but when we are on the go it means that I have to lug around spoons, bibs, and breakable jars. I like the convenience  of using the disposable food pouches, but I would really prefer for him to eat my own baby purees. When I was contacted by Little Green Pouch to try their reusable food pouches I was super excited! 🙂
Little Sweet Pea Meal Time

I loved the idea of a “reusable” food pouch that can be filled with the homemade foods that Little Sweet Pea enjoys. No longer did I need to carry around breakable jars or bulky plastic containers filled with food. I didn’t even need to carry a spoon! With these pouches he was able to feed himself!

Roasted Banana and Pear Puree {Sweet Pea's Kitchen}

Today’s recipe is one of Little Sweet Pea’s favorite-Roasted Banana and Pear Puree. It’s creamy, sweet, with delicious caramel notes. Roasting the bananas and pears intensifies the flavors even more, making this baby puree so good you might even find yourself eating it! 😉

    Oh! I have a couple of little ones who would love this! I’m always making fruit purees with whatever fruits I have on hand to freeze into popsicles for my bigger kids, and I would love to put some into these pouches for my little guy. (And I think I might try your roasted pear/banana puree today. I even have both of the ingredients already!)
