First Step: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with some cooking spray and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Third Step: Pour the pecan praline cake batter into the baking dish and bake for 40-50 minutes. The cake will be golden brown, and a toothpick will come out clean.
Fourth Step: After the cake is done baking set it aside to cool.
Fifth Step: Begin preparing the butter pecan glaze by melting butter in a small saucepan using medium heat.

Can I add Caramel Sauce to the top?
Oh my! That would only add to the irresistible flavor the cake already has! I say go ahead and add the Caramel!
Can I make this in a Bundt Pan instead of a 9×13 cake pan?
When this cake is made in a bundt pan, it will give it a much more classy look. The Bundt Pan is a great idea to use as the glaze will travel down the sides of the cake.
Can I add coconut to the cake?
You could add coconut to the cake or to the glaze. Either way, this is going to taste fantastic!
How do I store this cake?
One of the great things about this cake is that it can be stored in the refrigerator or left on the counter. As long as it is covered tightly, the cake will be great for up to 2 or 3 days.
Can I freeze the Southern Pecan Praline Cake?
This cake does well in the freezer. The cake can be wrapped in individual pieces or left as a whole and wrapped tightly. The cake will be fine if left in the freezer for up to 2 months.
