What is the best type of potatoes to use for this dish?

For this Smoked Sausage, I prefer to use Yukon Gold or even a Russet potato. These types are sturdier potatoes and hold up to frying without becoming mushy.

What type of sausage works best?

For this Smoked Sausage and Potato Skillet, using smoked sausage in the skillet is the best choice. However, you could use Turkey Sausage or even Breakfast Sausage in the skillet.

What should I serve with smoked sausage and Potatoes?

This would also depend on which type of sausage you decide to use. For a breakfast sausage, you can make a side of eggs. For the smoked sausage, you could try a dinner salad or a plate of roasted potatoes.

Can this be made in the air fryer?

Follow the directions for the air fryer and cook the potatoes and sausage first. Then add in the vegetables and remaining ingredients. Cook until heated through.
