When making cookies, the dough should be chilled to keep it firm. For this easy chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake, it doesn’t need to be because you will be pressing it over other ingredients.
How to serve Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake?
Serve well chilled with chocolate sprinkles, or chocolate syrup drizzled over the top. Create a treat for guests by placing the cake on a dessert dish that is sprinkled with powdered sugar or chocolate syrup. Add warm chocolate chip cookies beside the cheesecake.
Cooking Tips:
Overbaking dries out the cheesecake filling, cracking, or burning it. Be patient when making your cheesecake. Follow wait times during each process.
Variations:
Switch the chocolate chips out for candy bits, or butterscotch chips. Try different flavors of cookie dough. Sprinkle finely chopped nuts on top.
Ingredients:
For the crust:
- Oreo cookie crumbs
- Granulated sugar
- Butter melted
For the cheesecake:
- Cream cheese softened
- Granulated sugar
- Eggs
- Sour cream
- Vanilla extract
For the cookie dough:
- Packed brown sugar
- Butter melted
- Granulated sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Water
- All-purpose flour
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips
For the topping:
- Sour cream
- Granulated sugar
- Vanilla extract
How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake:
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2. Add the ingredients for the crust to a mixing bowl, and stir until combined well.
Adding the oreo cookie crumbs.
Adding the butter melted.
Adding the granulated sugar.
Step 3. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a well greased 9” Springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool.
Step 4. Mix together the ingredients for the cheesecake filling until well blended, and poor on top of the cooled crust.
Adding the granulated sugar.
Adding the cream cheese softened, eggs and sour cream.
Adding the vanilla extract.
Step 5. Blend together the ingredients for the cookie dough mixture.
Adding the butter melted.
Adding the Packed brown sugar.
Adding the granulated sugar.
Adding the water.
Adding the all-purpose flour.
Adding the vanilla extract.
Adding the Semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Press it into the top of the cheesecake filling in the Springform pan.
Step 6. Bake the cheesecake for 45-55 minutes until lightly browned and done.
Step 7. Let cool to room temperature and then chill for 2 hours.
Step 8. Mix together the ingredients for the topping and place on top of the cheesecake, sprinkling some additional chocolate chips on top of desired.
Step 9. Chill for another 2+ hours before serving.

- 3 Large eggs

- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
For the cookie dough:
- ¼ C. Packed brown sugar
- ¼ C. Butter melted
- ¼ C. Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- ½ C. All purpose flour
- 1 C. Semi sweet chocolate chips
For the topping:
- 1 C. Sour cream
- 2 tsp. Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
