Step 2. In another bowl beat the sugar and butter together until creamy.
Step 3. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix again.
Step 4. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
Step 5. Mix in the apple cider.
Step 6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 7. Line muffin tin with cupcake linings.
Step 8. Fill each ¾ full of batter and place in preheated oven for 19 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Step 9. Remove and let cool.

Step 2. Slowly add confectioners’ sugar and mix then pour milk in.
Step 3. Put the icing in a piping bag and ice the cooled cupcakes.
