Prep Time: 15 minutes – Cook Time: 45-50 minutes – Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
1 ½ lb. Chicken breasts cut into pieces
1 lb. Italian sausage links cut into pieces
1 Onion chopped
2 Red bell peppers cut into large pieces
½ tsp. Italian seasoning
1 lb. Pasta of your choosing cooked to al dente
2 C. Shredded mozzarella cheese
2 Jars Pasta sauce
2 Tbsp. Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high.
Add the sausage and chicken to the skillet and saute for about 5 minutes.
Place the onion and bell pepper into the skillet and saute until the vegetables are softened and the meat is cooked through.
And
And stir
Stir in the Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
Drain the excess fat from the skillet.
Stir together the pasta, meat mixture and the sauce.
Pour the mixture into a large baking dish or two smaller ones.
Top wth the mozzarella cheese and bake for 30 minutes.
